The 7th District has done an awesome job on membership for 2025 - 2026. We finished in 3rd place in the Department! We will be sitting front row! I can’t tell you how proud I am of The District In the Sticks!
That being said, it is July 1, 2026. The new Membership year is now underway. Please reset and let’s get a jump on membership for 2027. Reach out to your current members to go ahead and renew now. Continue the work of contacting those 345AD members and encourage them to become a part of your local post.
Start membership drives now. There is no reason the District In The Sticks can’t be number 1 for 2026 - 2027. Let’s get off the porch and do something!
A few of our posts saw challenges this past year. As expected, those challenges held them back from reaching their full potential and making that 100% goal. On the bright side, they should have no problem meeting goal this year. Thank you to those posts for addressing your individual challenges and holding a steady keel. 2026 - 2027 should be a banner year for you.
I will be attending the Department Convention from July 9th - 12th.
Please send at least 1 delegate from your Post! Most of you will receive awards. If you do not have a delegate present, I cannot guarantee when I will be able to get your new Membership packages or awards to you.
Once again, thank you all for your hard work this past Membership year! Now let’s knock the socks off of this year’s goals. Most of you will only need +1 to make goal. I will provide you with the goals after Convention.

This is an election year for the 7th District. If you are interested in serving the district as an office, please be prepared to announce your candidacy at our Fall District Meeting. The District has several Committee chair positions that are vacant. Please reach out if you would like to help out. Elections will be held at our Spring convention. District meeting/convention dates have not yet been determined. I will be announcing dates after the Department convention. If you would like to host the Spring District Convention, please reach out and let me know.
