BYOL and Games
Starting in March 2026, we will be adding Thursdays to our BYOL and Games lineup. Our BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch) and Games has been so much fun and everyone has wanted to do it more often, so starting in March every Tuesday and Thursday is BYOL & Games at the Veterans Center at 1001 E 4th St, Rusk. Come join us and have some fun and make new friends.

5th Annual Veterans Fundraiser
Did you know that many of our members of the VFW are also members of the American Legion? We work together to support the veterans of Grimes County (and surrounding communities) and their families, and now we are asking you to support us, On February 21, 2026, American Legion McCluskey Post 640 will have its annual fundraiser.

If you miss the fish from Sharon Davis Weiman café she will be having fish Wednesday at the American Legion, get your orders in! Fish, coleslaw, hush puppies, fries, $12 A plate.
